We have adopted the WHO global strategy of accelerating elimination of cervical cancer, eliminating cervical cancer through screening and treatment of precancerous lesions as well as treatment and palliative care for invasive cervical cancer. In alignment with the WHO strategy our objective is to:
- Reach a percentage 70% number of women with screening using a high-performance test by the age of 35, and again by the age of 45. We use VIA, Pap Smear and HPV DNA Testing.
- 90% of women identified with cervical disease receive treatment (90% of women with pre-cancer treatment and 90% of women with invasive cancer managed).
